Thanks for sharing your tips Tica! I’ve learned that lesson a few times myself-that you just may not be ready, that it may not be your year.
Thanks. This was done more for me than anyone else. #truestory
Good advice! I especially like the last part about evaluating yourself and seeing how you can improve. Hopefully two acceptances are on there way to you soon.
I hope so! No one likes hearing ‘No’ but I think the power in that is what you do afterwards. How much work you’re willing to put in to hear yes…sulk if you have to, but don’t accept the NO!
I enjoyed your VLOG. I experienced SLP Grad school rejection last year before I was accepted into grad school where I am now. I had to watch my classmates and friends be rejected entirely and that hurts as well. I hope you are accepted and get to join the wonderful world of Grad School #SLP2Be 🙂

Great vlog Trace. I think you provide some excellent insight.
I know that things may not have turned out how you planned…but keep in mind that God has a plan for your life. Perhaps you weren’t planning or dreaming BIG enough. I know that God is going to bless you to do amazing and outstanding things. Just make sure you don’t allow this experience to hinder you from going forward and continuing to pursue the things you desire.
God has you back and you will accomplish anything you set your heart and mind to. Believe that!
Thanks J! It’s always very nice to have you around these parts, since I know you speak from the heart.
Nice vlog, great to put a voice to the face.
I’ve been there w/ the school rejections. I didnt cry, but boy was i discouraged! I prayed and that made me feel better. After a few rejections, I received a few acceptances. Wishing you lots of luck & positive vibes.
Yes, I agree! I hope to do a vlog once a month at least, mostly when I’m a writing rut. Thanks for the vibes…
Rejections are definitely a huge part of life.
I believe some wise man once stated how it’s not how many times one has been knocked down, but mainly how many times one arises. Since rejection, in all forms, is a given (at least at some point or level) it’s always a good thing for everyone to learn how to accept and overcome rejection, as you so eloquently stated.
