You’re right though. Transcribing it took longer than usual, but since I was an insomniac this morning, it seemed a worthy cause. 🙂
I was living in a building once and it was sold. So then a few months after that I moved out. When I went to get my security deposit they didn’t have it on record what I paid. And I couldn’t remember. They gave me a whole bunch of money back. Lol. I’m pretty sure it was too much but since neither of us had any record of the original amount……:-)
I only check my voice mails once a week, is that weird?
I don’t think so, considering I do the same. People that know me, know not to leave a voicemail… they shoot me a text for a direct response. Now that I’m looking for work I check more often though, like every 2-3 days.
PS- I’m only getting $200 dollars back and my former landlord is being a cheap-o to the max-o. He acts like it’s killing him to rush that to me.
Keep track of how long it takes your landlord to return your deposit. In most States a landlord has to return a security deposit within 30 days of the renter moving out. And if they don’t you can take the landlord to small claims court and collect the deposit plus a penalty. Which can be up to three times the amount of the deposit.
I know all that because I watch The People’s Court. Lol

The problem is that I need that money, like NEED it. I’m calling him tomorrow to harass him because he told me he would mail the check in 2 weeks. We would be going into the 3rd week tomorrow. And like I mentioned, I really need it.
